In the midst of the pedestrian zone of St. Moritz, the Tourist Information Office has received a brand new look. The focus of the makeover of the primary meeting point for visitors from around the world is on the philosophy of treating guests in a new way. The iLounge fulfills a promise: «i» stands for information and multi-media and «Lounge» stands for the unusual, relaxed way of planning a visit at the destination.
A long bar table replaces the former stiff desk situation and allows relaxed and direct exchange between customers and staff. Another space is designed as a lounge. This is where visitors can linger and find inspiration for eventful outings throughout the Engadine region.
The entire new design of the tourist information office was inspired by the poster series «St. Moritz» by Christoph Niemann. The room is decorated in the colours of the posters, of which a selection is displayed on the walls.
