Jungfraujoch Visitor Experience

A Spectacular Experience in Any Weather

How do you offer guests from all over the world an exciting experience on the mountain when there is fog all around them? We met this challenge by developing a poetic overall experience incorporating the expertise of the founding railway engineers and the incomparable high Alpine mountain world of the Jungfraujoch.

Most Successful All-Weather Attraction of the Alps

After arriving at the newly designed train station, visitors first immerse in the 360° cinema experience. Here they witness first-hand the raw violence and fragile beauty of the high alpine nature of Jungfraujoch. The tour in the following tunnel tells of the past and present of tourism in alpine Switzerland by means of sensual and humorous stagings. In a hall decorated with Edelweiss lights, an oversized snow globe welcomes visitors. Inside a teeming crowd of colorful wooden figures reveal clichés as well as surprises. On a conveyor belt, guests pass a 90-meter-long mural with images of longing for the Alps. Separate installations are dedicated to the pioneers of the mountain railway construction. Our interventions in the visitor flows, the tour, the experience and the staging are not the motive for the trip to the Jungfraujoch, but they make the trip to the « Top of Europe » a memorable, positive experience with a logical flow - no matter what the weather is like.
